WOMEN'S MINISTRIES
Women’s Ministry has the mission of equipping women with the truth of the Scriptures to become more Christ like. We desire that the heart of every woman be transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ. It is the mission of Concord Baptist Church Women’s Ministry to minster to all women of the church and in the Jefferson City area community. You are invited to find a place to connect through one of the small group studies, Bible studies, discipleship programs, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), Apples of Gold program, Widow’s Connection, Joy Comes in the Morning, and many more opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth. It is our mission to minister to every woman in order that she may be a godly influence in her home, her church, her community, and the world to the glory of God. Our focus is to love God, to love others, and make disciples.

WIDOWS
Widow’s Connection
Widow’s Connection ministers to widows at Concord and the in the community. It is a source of encouragement, meeting once or twice a year. A video driven series written by a widow focuses on moving forward and learning what to expect as you walk through this unexpected season of life. The group meets for 6-7 weeks to address the grieving process through a Christ-centered and Godly lens from one widow to another.
Joy Comes in the Morning
Joy Comes in the Morning is a ministry for widows and welcomes all women from Concord along with widows from the Jefferson City area community. Our focus is a Christ centered gathering along with food, fellowship and fun. Meetings are held the 2nd Saturday of every month from September until May. In this stage of life, friendships are so important and just knowing there are others walking with you is a huge encouragement. You will be welcomed and loved by other ladies who have walked this path and learn that you are not alone.

APPLES OF GOLD
Apples of Gold is a mentoring program where seasoned woman invest into the lives of younger women according to Titus 2:3-5. Participants are blessed with a Bible study along with learning the art of hospitality and homemaking. The 7-8-week course features a lesson on kindness, loving your husband and children, submission, purity and hospitality. The old fashioned art of hospitality is a treat and these mentors invite you to come and be pampered. Apples of God provides an opportunity to get to know ladies who can share from past experiences along with one-on-one mentoring.

Concord Moms is a ministry of Concord Baptist Church for all mothers of children ages newborn to school-age. Expectant mothers are always welcome. Nursery (3 years & under), Concord Kids (PreK-4th grade), Route 56 (5th & 6th grade), and Student Ministry (6th-12th grade) are available for the children to attend during this time.
Concord Moms exists to create a community of support for moms with children of all ages. Concord Moms meet together bi-monthly for a time of fellowship. They might have a speaker speak on relevant issues facing moms today, a creative time of crafting, or serve together in various service projects throughout the year. In addition, Concord Moms does 2-3 Bible studies through the year. Motherhood is full of highs and lows, and we don’t want any mom to walk alone. This group helps to curate a Gospel community of fellow moms to lean on through all the seasons of parenthood. Mothers are pampered and loved at Concord Moms.
