Concord Students
Our vision at
Concord Students is to:
- Support our parents/grandparents in their highest calling.
- Equip and mobilize our students to think biblically and engage their friends with the Gospel.
- Train our volunteers to serve as extensions of our leadership.
- Create sticky environments/programs/events for students and families.
Concord Students serves 7th–12th graders and their families. We exist to train students to be and make disciples of Jesus. We do this through various programs and opportunities, including Midweek, small groups, events, student leadership, and especially by sending our students on a mission—whether in Jefferson City Missouri, across the United States, or internationally.
Weekly Programs
Midweek | Wednesday Evenings | 5:30–7:30 pm

Every Wednesday night, we meet in the Student Center (Blue Room).
- Student Ministry Meal: 5:30–6:30 pm
- Doors Open to Student Center: 6:00 pm

- Pick-up Window: 7:30–7:45 pm
Small Groups | Sunday Mornings | 9:15–10:30 am
Small Groups are the next step within the student ministry at Concord. We want students to grow in their relationship with Jesus, develop biblical literacy, connect with their peers and adult leaders, and have fun during the process. Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge and tools to help them grow in their faith and live out their Christian walk.
Every Sunday morning, we meet in the Student Center (Blue Room).
- Pre-Service Hang time: 9:00-9:20 am
- Large Group Teaching: 9:20-9:55 am
- Small Groups: 9:55-10:30 am
Next Steps
Salvation
This salvation is designed to help students and parents clearly understand what salvation is, why it is needed, and how a student can respond to the gospel at Concord Baptist Church. Our prayer is that every student would hear the good news of Jesus clearly, respond in genuine faith, and begin a personal relationship with Him that starts now and lasts forever.
Salvation is not about being a good person or earning God’s love—it is about trusting in what Jesus has already done. The Bible teaches that every person is created by God and for God, but sin separates us from Him. No amount of good deeds can remove that sin. Because of His great love, God sent Jesus to die in our place and rise again, making a way for us to be forgiven and restored to Him. Everyone who turns from sin and places their faith in Jesus alone receives eternal life.
Baptism
This pathway is designed to help students and parents clearly understand what baptism is, who baptism is for, and how a student takes the next step at Concord Baptist Church. Our prayer is that baptism would be a joyful, thoughtful, and meaningful step of obedience flowing from a student’s personal faith in Jesus Christ.
Discipleship
This pathway helps students and parents understand where a student is spiritually and what the next step is in following Jesus at Concord Baptist Church. Our prayer is that every student would grow from simply hearing about Jesus to living on mission for Him—becoming a disciple who helps others follow Christ.
This pathway is based on the 4 Chair Discipleship Model, reflecting the process Jesus used with His disciples. Every student is always in one chair, and the goal is growth and movement, not perfection, through relationships, intentional teaching, and the work of the Holy Spirit.
