Our Mission

The children's ministry at Concord is designed to partner with parents and families as we work to ANCHOR the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the hearts of our children, cultivate a LOVE for knowing Christ and GROW in their relationship and walk with Jesus so that they may go and SHARE with others.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

We consider it a tremendous privilege to partner with parents as they endeavor to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Concord Baptist Church provides a safe and loving environment for each child entrusted to our care. Our goal is for every child to learn of God’s love for them. We desire to impact the future with children who learn to follow after Jesus and be world changers for His kingdom. Children exude joy and bring life to our church. We will love on your kids and encourage them to be everything God has in mind for them.

MIDWEEK

Midweek is our discipleship program for preschool and children ages three through 4th grade. Using the Gospel Project Midweek curriculum which aligns to Sunday School lessons, students take a deep dive into the various spiritual disciplines that we practice as believers. Students also have a time of Missions, Recreation, Music, and Bible Skills practice. Children are encouraged to memorize scripture and are taught to treat each other with Christ-like respect as they interact. Our volunteers are the best and will make your child feel welcomed and loved.

Concord Kids runs from September – May.

CONCORD KIDS REGISTRATION

ROUTE 56

Route 56 is discipleship for our 5th and 6th graders.

As children get older they are outgrowing children’s programs, but not quite ready for youth group. So, Concord Baptist Church has provided a space just for them where they can hang with each other and learn about Jesus.

Route 56 has their own Sunday School classes on Sundays. In addition, they meet regularly on Wednesday evenings from September through May from 6:00-7:30 pm.

Route 56 Camp

This is a get-away overnight (Mon-Fri) camp for kids who have finished 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. It’s an occasion for fun and making life-long memories with friends. Leaders have kids unplug from technology and use this valuable time to pour Jesus into them. Our prayer is that these kids would make solid commitments to Christ that will carry them powerfully through their futures.

LIFT CAMP 2024

Lift Camp is a week-long worship arts day camp for kids who have completed 1st – 8th grade. We learn a musical in a week with choir, drama, and dance and present the music on Friday night. We also have fantastic recreation, and on Wednesday, we take a field trip that usually includes a water park or some other fun activity. This is a great way to introduce your kids to the world of worship and music in an enjoyable format!

About the Great Jungle Journey VBS 2024

GIVE KIDS ANSWERS TO THEIR QUESTIONS

Every day, our kids are bombarded with questions: Did God really create everything? Why do bad things happen? Was Noah’s ark real? Why do I need to be saved? Can I trust the Bible?

At this VBS, your kids will explore the biblical answers to these questions as they set off on an epic adventure from Genesis to Revelation. Amid sloths, butterflies, river dolphins, and dart frogs, your children will sail along on a fun jungle cruise, stopping at seven ports of call. These ports are the 7 C’s of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. Kids will discover how these events shape our world, and they will learn to reconnect the Bible to their everyday life.

Prepare to swing into fun as we head out on The Great Jungle Journey!

CONCORD MOMS

Concord Moms is a ministry of Concord Baptist Church for all mothers of children ages newborn to school-age. Expectant mothers are always welcome. Nursery (3 years & under), Concord Kids (PreK-4th grade), Route 56 (5th & 6th grade), and Student Ministry (6th-12th grade) are available for the children to attend during this time.

Concord Moms exists to create a community of support for moms with children of all ages. Concord Moms meet together bi-monthly for a time of fellowship. They might have a speaker speak on relevant issues facing moms today, a creative time of crafting, or serve together in various service projects throughout the year. In addition, Concord Moms does 2-3 Bible studies through the year. Motherhood is full of highs and lows, and we don’t want any mom to walk alone. This group helps to curate a Gospel community of fellow moms to lean on through all the seasons of parenthood. Mothers are pampered and loved at Concord Moms.
