Jake Carlisle
Young Adult PastorJake arrived at Concord in 2021, alongside his wife, Adri, and their two children — Karlee and Gideon. In March 2022, the family formally became members of the Concord congregation. In July 2022, Jake assumed the role of interim youth pastor, which he undertook with enthusiasm and commitment, demonstrating his heart for serving, teaching, and connecting with young adults.
Jake graduated from West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, California where he obtained a Bachelor of Church Ministry with an emphasis in Youth Ministry. Since college, his heart has been to minister to students and young adults. Jake has over 15 years of ministry experience holding various roles that include church camp staff, facilities manager, Youth Pastor, and Assistant Pastor.
It is Jake’s desire to serve God in every aspect of his life. He wants all of him to be used for all of HIM and is excited to serve in a ministry where he can reach the community for Christ, by making disciples and fulfilling the Great Commission. He wants to love people the way Christ loves us and wants to strive to live a life that glorifies God.
Jake and his family are very excited to help usher in a new ministry focus at Concord centered on engaging young adults and cultivating a fellowship of believers rooted in the Gospel. Jake eagerly anticipates the growth of this ministry and its potential to resonate among the young adults within the local community and beyond.
