Brad joined the staff at Concord in March of 2017. Prior to joining Concord, he served four churches as Minister of Music and most recently served as Director of Worship studies at Hannibal-LaGrange University. Brad is a long-time member of the Missouri Music Men, and he has led or participated in mission trips to Nicaragua, El Salvador, Jordan, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Mexico, Canada, Italy, Ukraine, and Israel along with multiple domestic trips.

Brad married Janis (Ostrom) Newbold in 1986 and is the proud dad of Seth (married to Melissa) and Sara DiRoberto (married to Taylor). He is also the proud grandpa of Cora DiRoberto and Declan Newbold! He loves boating, spending time with family, traveling, and home remodeling. His proudest achievements are watching his kids actively serve in their local churches.

Brad has completed a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Religious Studies at Southwest Baptist University, a Master of Divinity, and Master of Arts in Worship at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is ABD toward a Doctor of Ministry in Worship Leadership at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Brad loves to empower and equip others to do the work of ministry. He feels that his greatest strength in ministry is surrounding himself with great people. One of his favorite verses related to worship is Psalm 34:3 “Glorify the Lord with me, let us exalt his name together.”
