What Does Scripture Say about the Sun and Moon? - Dr. Jim Johnson
How does Genesis report the creation of the sun and moon? Is Genesis just “Hebrew poetry”, or is it factual history, provided by the only Eye-witness? Are the heavens and earth results of a “big bang” accident, or are they masterpieces of design and construction, serving the needs of life on Earth? (What did Jesus Himself indicate is the relevance of Genesis? Also, how does the Lord Jesus Christ’s teaching disagree with that of closed-Bible scoffers?) Was the Galileo controversy (about the sun’s movements) a “win” for religion, or for science, or for neither? How did Christ conquer darkness for those who want to belong to Him?
